Riverview Manor’s life enrichment and dietary departments once again collaborated to help couples celebrate an early Valentine’s Day at the Peterborough long-term care home on Feb. 12.
The life enrichment team decorated two areas of the home with hearts and messages of love and set up tables and chairs for couples to enjoy a special meal together.
Nutritional care manager Adam Brand and his staff prepared a meal of cheese ravioli, caesar salad and cheese scones for the couples to enjoy.
Family member Dave Choate and his wife Dona were one of the couples on hand for the celebration. Aside from the event being an opportunity for the couple to spend time together, Dave says there was another bonus.
“It means I don’t have to cook lunch,” he chuckles. “The food was really good.”
