(VIDEO) Almonte resident a busy body – inside and outside the home

The folks at Almonte Country Haven recently asked us to highlight Enid Manchester, a resident at the Lanark County long-term care home who’s a real busy body.

Recently, Enid began participating in a Lanark County Support Services program in town. Since early April, Enid has been attending the program twice a week.

She has baked muffins to help with a local school’s breakfast program and is a regular in the program’s Zumba exercise class (click here to watch video of Enid participating in the class).

Aside from keeping busy in activities outside the home, administrator Marilyn Colton says Enid is always on the go at Almonte Country Haven.

“Enid is also involved in tasks in the home, setting place settings in the dining room, making the morning announcements at breakfast and helping with life enrichment activities,” she says.

“Enid is a gem and we are so happy to have her with us.”
