Information regarding COVID-19

We are all doing our best to keep our residents and team members safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. The situation is evolving, and we are providing links below to sites with current information about COVID-19 and the response of the Canadian and Ontario governments and health agencies. General visitors are required to schedule visits in advance, and are subject to province-wide restrictions designed to protect our residents and each other. Specific provisions apply to visitors categorized as Essential Caregivers, Essential Workers and Support Workers.

Staff and visitors are screened upon entry and may be subject to testing, personal protective equipment and other requirements based on the type of visit, vaccination status, and the directives and policies established by the Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario and the Ministry of Long-Term Care. Residents and staff have had priority access to vaccinations in accordance with the Provincial rollout plan, and all OMNI homes meet the immunization threshold values established. Absences and social gatherings are also subject to specific provincial directives and policies. Please consult the home in advance, or refer to the guidance in the links below for the current requirements.
