(VIDEO) Springdale residents treated to an afternoon of science

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – Springdale Country Manor’s life enrichment department treated residents to an afternoon of science experiments July 15.

The program, which was hosted in the home’s courtyard in sunny, summer weather, included making homemade lava lamps, creating psychedelic swirls with food colouring, milk and dish soap and mixing acids and bases to get exploding plastic bags.

It was a fun, educational event for residents, say staff members.
